Quote

"The one absolutely unselfish friend that a man can have in this selfish world, the one that never deserts him, the one that never proves ungrateful or treacherous, is his dog.

From the 1870 case Burden v. Hornsby wherein Charles Burden's dog, Old Drum, was shot by his brother-in-law Leonidas Hornsby.

F&F provides two online libraries that users can view.  Those visiting our online library can view and download articles by selecting attributes from our easy search interface.  Our Private Library is a subscriber only feature.  Subscribers can now download complete issues of F&F in PDF format.  Our Public Library is for any registered user.  Here we maintain a sample stock of issue and articles.

The New September/October 2008 Issue

It's Almost Here!

The 2008 September/October issue of Front & Finish has been printed and is in the mailing process now.  There
will be a slight delay in mailing this first issue due to the changes in switching from our old format to the new.  Look for the new F&F soon which will arrive in an envelope bearing our logo!

Our authors and office staff have been working very hard to bring you a much improved magazine.  We sincerely hope you will appreciate the changes!  As this venture is significantly more expensive to produce we will need to increase our subscription base.  If you like the changes please let a friend know we'd appreciate their support with a subscription!

Please remember that online subscribers will now receive the remaining issues of their subscriptions via snail-mail.  Due to changes with our rating system development on this site, future uploads of digital issues will be delayed.

Important Notices!

#1. Beginning with the September/October issue we will begin publishing in our new format.  Online subscribers will receive the remainder of their subscriptions in print form with issues being mailed through the postal system.

#2. Development of our web site will soon allow exhibitors to view and edit their dog's rating system records, view other dog's records, and run a variety of reports, all for a small annual fee.  After development of our new rating system interface is complete we will open the Private Subscriber's Library to the public.  The change will incorporate a variety of materials intended to support the canine performance and companion events.  At this time these and other changes are under consideration.  We do not yet have a fixed time-line for completion of these changes.

#3  New 2007 ratings are now on our web site.  Subscribers can visit our Private Subscriber's Library to view and download a variety of these 2007 Rating System Reports.
